Turbodynamics is proud to announce that it has developed a brand new fully automated board changing system with an integrated docking setup. This universal solution is compatible for all common horizontal and strip handlers on the market. Integrated safety features and a fully automated motion drive ensure an ergonomic and simple operation process. Common stiffener sizes like the Advantest V93k and Teradyne U-Flex platform can be operated. Turbodynamics was able to develop a solution which cannot only be docked with the house own P-Dock system, but also with OEM solutions like the Teradyne K-Dock or Advantest 3 pin docking system. This modularity combined with a compact design makes this development unique on the market. It can be used as a stand-alone system or together with the TD zero-footprint trolley and automated probe card trolley & storage system. The latter would guarantee a complete automated delivery of load boards from a storage system to the test cell and back again.

Turbodynamics has improved their Manipulators and Trolleys portfolio. In the picture, you can see our brand new Manipulator TD1350 LR. It can handle Testheads up to 275 kg. In combination with our new spring-loaded vertical motion for easier docking process, together with the flexible Manipulators footing the Testhead is able to move in X, Y and Z direction. The additional rotation of the column ensures a wide range of motion. Those degrees of freedom combined with a compact design reduces the footprint of the whole test cell tremendously and gives our customers more space in their clean rooms.
Today, 10/10/22 is World Mental Health Day. But what does mental health mean anyway? Mental health is a state of well-being in which a person can realize his or her full potential, cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively, and contribute to his or her community.
After two years Turbodynamics had a company party at the "Rosenheimer Herbstfest". Our small Oktoberfest in Rosenheim. It was a pleasure to see the spirit within the Turbodynamics team. Below picture shows our group within the beer tent of the Floetzinger brewery.
In order to contribute to climate protection and to improve its own ecological footprint, Turbodynamics GmbH decided to equip its in-house milling shop with a 52kW photovoltaic system. This allows us to supply all machines with green electricity. We are very proud of this step and will keep on going this way!
On May 17 and 18, 2022, after a two-year break, Turbodynamics GmbH joined the Voice 2022 trade show in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, organized by Advantest. Turbodynamics was a gold sponsor of the Voice 2020. Company founder and President Stefan Thurmaier (picture) traveled to Scottsdale together with Benedikt Pongratz, product manager, and spent 2 days answering questions from every visitor at the Turbodynamics’ booth. It was an honor for us to be there.
Even in difficult times like these, Turbodynamics GmbH tries to help and support. A call for help from a regional aid organization asked for support for refugees from Ukraine, directly on site. Our team showed sympathy and solidarity through financial and material donations.
Turbodynamics GmbH is growing and growing! Now we have a new location close to our main office, which exclusively houses our in-house milling department. In a spacious production hall in Eichenstraße 2, 83083 Riedering /Niedermoosen, from now on special designs and customer requests will be manufactured in the best possible way and in the highest quality. A team of top-class specialists works full of energy on every new order.

Our latest success was the 120 sales of our Trolleys (mobile Manipulators) in 2021. Turbodynamics is proud to announce reaching the next milestone in our history. Since prototyping first mobile Manipulator for 90kg test head, Turbodynamics has delivered 150 Trolleys. Meanwhile, six versions up to 500kg test head weight are available. This allows Turbodynamics to generate customized solutions for final test and probing applications. As a company, we always try very hard to reach our goals together, as a team and with you, our customers. That`s why such success makes us especially happy. Here`s to the next 100!
